Impact Type Classification

When working with transformations on Projects (or Transformation Items), the BTM module will automatically create relations to the Fact Sheets affected by those transformations (e.g., from the Project to an affected Application). It will also classify the type of impact and add it as an “Impact Type” to the respective relation.

The Impact Type Classification enables new filtering possibilities, such as filtering for all Applications that will be introduced by a given Project or all Projects that are planning to make an Application Rollout next year.

Furthermore, the Impact Type can be used as a view option in reports. For example, in an Application Landscape clustered by Projects.

Information

As there might be several impact types applicable for the same item, the color in the report is based on the order as depicted in the legend. The impact type most to the left wins over impact types more to the right.
