Intune App Configuration (Admin)
Information
This guide assumes that you are an Intune Admin
The LeanIX EAM mobile application supports setting customer domain URLs (Instance URLs) for your organization through App Configuration Policies.
There are two ways to configure this for the employees of your organization. The ways differ based on whether their device is managed or not.
Note: The “Managed Apps” approach is not supported by the “LeanIX EAM” (non-Intune / Regular variant) mobile application as it is an Intune-exclusive feature. Please refer to the table below to understand the ways our applications support.
App (Bundle ID) | Managed Devices | Managed Apps |
---|---|---|
LeanIX EAM (net.leanix.app) | ✓ | ✗ |
LeanIX EAM for Intune (net.leanix.app.intune) | ✓ | ✓ |
From hereon, we will consider the “LeanIX EAM” mobile application as the regular variant and the “LeanIX EAM for Intune” mobile application as the Intune variant.
Follow these guides to setup the App Configuration Policies based on your requirements:
- Managed Devices - If your employees' mobile devices are compulsorily going to be managed through Intune, you should proceed with this approach.
- Managed Apps
If your employees' devices are not going to be managed through Intune, you should proceed with this approach.
